Trips for children - Adventures for families with younger children. Some of these tours are suitable for children down to the age of 4 years old, and on some tours they even get to boss you around! Minimum of four people per booking required for these trips.
Mutiny on the Bounty - White Water Rafting (WWAC):
The kids take over and order the parents about!! Includes a treasure hunt. A fun trip based around the location of our Raft the Rainforest trip for adults.

Drive Dad Mad - Franz Josef Off-road Karts (KARTC):
A fun and safe way for kids to learn driving skills and teamwork with their Dad (or Mum). 'Kids Drive' or 'Dads Drive' options. They'll laugh their heads off.

Departs on the hour from the Alpine Adventure Center, Main Road, Franz Josef.
Castles of the Underworld - Cave Adventure (W3C):
Kids complete an 'Indiana Jones' fun challenge while learning how nature makes things glow in the dark! Based around our Taniwha Cave Rafting trip with glow-worms & tube floating (see details for this tour).

Departs from Greymouth at 8am and 2pm.
Captain Hook Jungle Boat Mystery - Rainforest Cruise (JUNC): "Arrr me hearties! Where'd that Peter Pan and Wendy fly off too?" We can't sprinkle fairy dust on them to make them fly, but kids love making their own 'Hook' that they can take away with them and play in the Jungle Orchestra they put together on the cruise. Activities depend on kids ages.

Raiders of the Lost Ark - Gold Adventure (GOW2C):
A tunnel maze, swing bridge, blindfolds, compass work and digging mean there needs to be some family teamwork on this 4X4 gold hunting adventure. You can even do some claim jumping if you dare!

Cancellations: We do not take any money off your credit card and you pay how you like on the day, but once you have booked your trip with us, if you do not turn up there is a 100% cancellation fee taken off the card, so you do need to be sure everyone does want to go. You can cancel outside of 72 hours prior to the tour date without any charges if you want to.
