What are Spare Seat Deals? We've organised these to be a win-win for you and for us. They are here to encourage you to book trips on particular dates. Tours have different reasons as to why we want to offer you a deal.

We sometimes get tours departing which have some unsold seats and it does not cost us much more to take an extra person or two. In this case by buying a Hot Hot Deal seat you are helping us improve our profit for that tour and you are helping your self by getting a cheaper rate!

Or we have people wanting to go on a small group tour on a certain date and they would like us to encourage a couple of other people to also go on that date to make it more fun.

Or on white water rafting trips we may need a couple of extra people to help get enough paddlers for a particular raft.

Hot Hot Deals all include our "Adventure Gaurantee" and are usually snapped up very quickly so if you think your travel plans might fit in with any of these dates make sure you get in first!

Need a Rental Car?

Relocation Deals. We sometimes have vehicles that need to be moved from one town to another and we are able to give you a few days to pickup and deliver the car to its required town. Where you go during that time can be up to you! It is cheaper for us to give you a cheap rental on the car and have you finish the rental where the car is next needed than for us to go and get the car and move it ourselves. Relocation deals are limited and we do reserve them first for people who have purchased an adventure tour off us. Drivers must be over 21 years old.

It is definitely worth asking us if there are any relocations needed at the time and places you wish to travel to as new ones come up everyday

I currently have the Late model Thrifty Rental Car relocation deals available as listed below. Let me know how many days you want the car for, as long as you finish with it in the specified town, and then I will give you a relocation price. Note: some hires need to be in a place by a certain date and time.

• Christchurch to Greymouth. We have relocation deals on most days
• Queenstown to Christchurch, or Greymouth. Not as often but worth asking.
• Picton to Greymouth or Christchurch

Spend money on this site and we could be helping you out with your rental car. If you spend at least $200 on any adventure tours from this site and you want to hire a small car (eg Totota Echo) for at least seven days we will help you out with a rental car deal.

To show our appreciation for choosing us for you adventure activities for each $200 you spend on adventure activities through this site we will provide you with one free days car rental over and above at least seven days hire you pay for. To be eligible you must also hire your car through this site. Special conditions do apply relating to vehicle pickup and drop off locations and vehicle size. This offer is also only available if there are spare cars available.

For example if you want a car for nine days and you spend $400 on adventures from this site, you would pay for the first 7 days car hire, and we would pay for the last 2 days or if you wanted 14 days care hire you would pay for 12 days and we would pay for the last 2 days.

What type of cars will you get? We have two rental car suppliers for you to choose from. Late model cars (not older than 2 years) are from Thrifty Car Rentals and can be collected and dropped off from any major city in NZ. Older but reliable backpacker Cars which are only available from Christchurch or Greymouth.

Enjoy the economy of taking a combo adventure tour into a beautiful mountain valley. Your tour includes a guided rainforest walk, riverside hotpools and 1&¼ hours grade 3 whitewater rafting. You're on a Fire-To-Ice rafting Adventure.

These Tours takes you into the awe-inspiring World Heritage Area Scenery of the Central Southern Alps. Mountain Peaks, glaciers and natural Hotsprings. Take an exhilarating journey of scenic contrasts down our glacier fed river.

The trip starts with a guided one and a half hour walk up the Wanganui River Valley through some stunning rainforest.

The walk is easy but rough underfoot with two rocky areas to cross. When we get to the end of the walk we do some raft training before crossing the river in rafts to have a soak in the hotpools. We then commence our river rafting adventure.

Our company has a range of boat sizes so that groups can choose their own "fun factor". For adventurers, smaller boats on this grade 3 river gives an exhilarating experience while for those people who are more tentative about their rafting the larger rafts will give you more confidence while still having a fun adventure.

Full training is given and you are under the supervision of our expert raft guides at all times.

Hot Rock Rafting Departs Hokitika 8:30am, Greymouth 8:00am, Fox Glacier 7:30am, Franz Josef 8:00am. This trip is located on the Wanganui River, near Hari Hari, which is one and a half hours drive north of Franz Josef Glacier or south from Greymouth. it is halfway between Greymouth and the Glaciers. If you have your own vehicle it is best to do the trip as you are traveling to or from the Glaciers. This saves you travel time and we will meet you at the river. If you are traveling south from Greymouth or Hokitika then you can follow us in your vehicle . If you need transport we can provide this, let us know where you are staying and we will pick you up.

Hot RocK Rafting Love Adventure with helicopter Full day. (Tour code HR3) You'll Helicopter further on again up the river and raft out with 2 lots of hot pools and champagne. (tour code WWHR3). Our 4 WD Offroad adventure truck will take you on a safari into the heartland of NZ's Southern Alps. We drive in from the main highway through heavy native New Zealand rainforest. Climbing over mountain foothills to the creeks and rivers of the Taipo Valley area below you will see some stunning views over the valleys and mountains. let us know when you book if you'd like to do some of the off road driving yourself, its great fun!!

The "Taipo" refers to a Mythical Maori Dragon which was believed to have lived in this area. Experience the contrast between Native rainforest and Alpine Valleys as you ride the trail to the start of your rafting adventure.

On the grade 3 Taipo River you will raft over the Alpine fault line from the Pacific Tectonic Plate to the Indo-Australis Plate. The canyon walls, as you raft through this crack in the earths crust, show the striated layers of rock being tilted and bent as the Indo-Australis pushes under the Pacific Plate. Further on you will view the layered effect of different sized boulder layers where the ice-age glaciers advanced leaving smaller stones of the moraine.

While seeing this you will enjoy an excellent rafting experience. This river is braided most of the way so you can choose your own "Fun Factor".

Choose a raft which takes the easier more relaxed route or take an "Action Raft" which gives you a roller coaster ride of rapids down the river. The choice is yours.
