Our shopping trolley makes creating an itinerary easy. As you browse through this web-site you can add as many items to your trolley as you like, and be able to see a running total as you go. Items can easily be removed from your trolley and you are under no obligation to make a purchase.

How does the shopping trolley work?

First, you add items to your trolley.

You will find forms like the one below on many pages on this web-site. If you want to book a particular tour, just complete the form and press the button Add to Shopping Trolley. To complete the form, you will need to decide the number of people and the date to make the booking for. Space is included on the form for you to add any comments or specify any options revelant for the item (a particular start time or preference you have).

Next, you review the items in your trolley while still shopping:

This is an Example of the Shopping Trolley used on this web-site. On the right hand side of your screen the shopping trolley will be updated to include the items you add. The shopping trolley displays a list of all the items you have added. In this example there is only one item, Dragons Blackwater Cave Rafting, booked for 2 people on 19th December 2003. The item can easily be removed from the trolley by pressing Remove this Item. The total displayed is NZ $230.00

Currency: All bookings through this site are made in New Zealand Dollars. However, for your convenience we have included a currency converter which enables all prices to be displayed in a currency of your choice. Beneath the Shopping Trolley is a menu where you can choose which currency to use. Simply select the currency you want from the menu and press the Choose button.

When you are ready to place your order, press the CHECKOUT button underneath the Shopping Trolley. This will take you to the checkout where you have a chance to review your order before deciding how you would like to proceed. At this stage we will ask you to complete some booking details and give you the option of printing your order to fax or phone through to us, or you can use our Secure Server and place your booking online.

If you choose to place your booking online we will email a copy of your order to you. Our Secure Server is a Certificated Server using 128-bit encryption to protect your data at all times. Once your order has been processed by an Adventure New Zealand representative your order will be erased from the server.

At the Checkout:

You can review your order and provide your contact details. At this point you can choose to proceed to our secure server where you can safely enter your credit card details or print out a copy of your order to fax to us. You could also use this if you decide to phone your payment details through to us.

Important Booking and Cancellation Information

All bookings are processed in New Zealand Dollars. There is a currency menu which enables you to choose your preferred currency. This is for your shopping convenience. Before we ask you for any payment details, we will ask you to check your order. This will include the total in New Zealand Dollars. At the appropriate time your booking will be processed in NZ $

Booking tours that take a day or less:

We do not take any money off your credit card and you pay how you like on the day, but once you have booked your trip with us, if you do not turn up there is a 50% cancellation fee taken off the card. You can cancel outside of 72 hours prior to the tour date without any charges if you want to.

Booking tours that take longer than a day or include aircraft or trains:

Your card will be debited as soon as we receive your booking. If you do not turn up for these trips then there is no refund. You can cancel outside of 7 business days prior to the tour date and a full refund will be given. Note that there are no refunds for cancellations within seven days as all arrangements for your tour will already have been made. We recommend you take out travel insurance and can give you advise on this.
